This time I have a tip for a simple lunch that is full of flavor. When butter is added to anything in the kitchen, a delicious taste is guaranteed, because as we know, fat is the carrier of flavor, and butter is already very good. We put them on a slice of chicken.
We will need about 400 g of chicken meat, preferably thinly sliced breast fillets. Also, 5 blankets of butter, and fresh or dried herbs, depending on the season and availability. One teaspoon of each herb – sage and thyme. We will also prepare garlic, salt and lemon.
-
400 g of chicken (preferably breast)
-
50 g of butter
-
1 teaspoon chopped/crushed sage
-
1 teaspoon of thyme
-
1 clove of garlic
-
salt pepper
First, we prepare butter with herbs. Melt the fat and mix well the herbs, a teaspoon of lemon juice, a pinch of salt and pepper and a strained clove of garlic. Pour half into a mug and let it set again. Spread the remaining, still liquid butter on all sides of the chicken slices that we previously salted a little.
Let’s fire up the grill or, if it’s still cold for outdoor grilling, the grill pan on the stove. When it is well heated, put the chicken and fry on both sides. It doesn’t last long, so we can still rub the meat with fragrant butter with a bow.
When the slices are ready, serve them with your favorite side dish and salad, and put a few slices of hardened butter from the fridge on each one.
This is such a brilliantly simple and quick lunch that it’s sure to be a crowd pleaser – so enjoy!
