Chicken breast with spinach and ricotta filling and French fries

Looking for advice on what to cook for dinner for your family? Opt for chicken breast baked in tomato sauce with delicious ricotta and spinach filling. Serve it with fries and we guarantee that this combination will be a hit with the kids too.

Preparation process

  1. Pour the tomato paste (about 100 ml each) into small baking dishes (for one portion), salt, pepper and sprinkle with oregano. After baking, a delicious sauce is created.

  2. In a strainer, scald the spinach with a chopped clove of garlic under a stream of boiling water. Leave the wilted spinach to cool completely, squeeze the water out of it and chop it into pieces.

  3. Put the ricotta in a bowl, add chopped spinach with garlic, egg yolk, nutmeg and mix everything and salt.

  4. Salt and pepper the chicken breast on both sides. Fry the meat on ghee on both sides so that it turns brown, but the inside is still raw. Put it prepared in this way in baking dishes on a layer of tomatoes.

  5. Now put the ricotta mixture on top of the meat – about a spoonful on each breast. Bake the baking dish with the meat and tomato mixture prepared in this way in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 20-30 minutes. Together with the meat, put the fries in the oven on another tray.

  6. Serve the roast meat and fries together.
