Minced meat is an excellent and creative ingredient. From classic meatballs to meatballs with sauce or patties.

200 g of onion
350 g of mushrooms
200 g of hard cheese

50 g mayonnaise
Minced meat can be used in ragu, risotto, on chevabčič, and it can be filled with vegetables – tomatoes, peppers or eggplant.
In the kitchen, minced meat is ideal for beginners and for those who like to try new flavors. The advantage is quick preparation, easy seasoning and many ways of preparation.
When working with minced meat, the most important thing is the quality of the starting product. In short, meat is not like meat. Ideally, you should go to the butcher, choose a nice cut of meat and grind it or, if you have a grinder, grind it yourself at home.
Cut the onion into rings and place on a baking sheet. Place the sliced potatoes on top of the onions.
Put the minced meat in a bowl and season with salt, pepper, sweet paprika, and the spices we like.
Spread the well-processed meat on the potatoes and place the sliced mushrooms on it.
Cover the tray with aluminum foil and bake for about 20 minutes at 180 degrees.
Then we remove the foil.
Grate cheese, add mayonnaise and chopped tomatoes.
Spread this mixture over the entire surface and return everything to the oven and bake for another 15 minutes.
If you do not want to process the minced meat immediately, we recommend that you mix the mixture without eggs, only with salt and spices. Then wrap it so that there is no air inside and store the meat in the refrigerator. It is best – if it is in the refrigerator – to put it in the zero zone, or back on the cooling plate. Then process the meat within 24 hours, and a maximum of two days.
